Being a minimalist is a good thing when it comes to your skincare routine. After all, too many products can be pricey and they may even cause your skin to react. But when it comes to moisturizers, each skincare toolbox needs at least four different products, no matter how you slice it. 1. Daytime facial moisturizer Your daytime facial moisturizer is different from all the other moisturizers that you use because it contains one crucial component, built-in SPF protection. No, that doesn’t mean that you can hit the beach or the pool without sunscreen. But it does protect your face from sun damage for about 15 minutes of being in the sun including walking to and from your car while running errands. 2. Body lotion Body lotion is meant to go all over your body. But it shouldn’t go on your face at all because it often contains fragrance and other ingredients that can be overly harsh on your face’s more sensitive skin. 3. Night time moisturizer Night time is when your skin does its repair work so you want a thicker more intense treatment than you would use during the day. And since you’re not going to be in the sun, you don’t need the built-in SPF. 4. Eye cream Every skincare routine needs a good eye cream. The earlier you add an eye cream to your anti-aging skincare routine, the less fine lines and wrinkles you’ll notice as you age. But at the same time, if you’ve been putting off using an eye cream, it’s also never too late to get started because protecting this highly sensitive part of your skin is so important. If you have dark circles under your eyes try Zax’s Original Dark Circle Eye Cream.
