Summer can deplete your skin of moisture. The sun coupled with the hot weather drains your skin of moisture. Not to mention that dehydrated skin is more likely to show fine lines and wrinkles. As a result, drinking ample amounts of water is really important. Try and drink 8-10 glasses per day. Avoiding excessive caffeine and alcohol, which deplete your skin of water, is also key to keeping your skin supple. Additionally, a homemade summer hydration mask applied once per week is also a great way to combat the effects of summer dehydration. This combination of avocado, coconut oil, and honey not only adds moisture to your skin, the texture locks in hydration.
